PART FACTORY celebrates the eighth birthday
The B2B contract manufacturing portal PART FACTORY is celebrating its eighth birthday.
What has happened in the last eight years? How has PART FACTORY developed during this time?
PART FACTORY was launched by the Grindaix company on February 01, 2014. Back then, the needs for parts in different lot sizes were huge, so they were looking for a solution to solve this problem. So a team from Grindaix developed the PART FACTORY B2B contract manufacturing portal to optimize the procurement of components, especially milled and turned parts. Online manufacturing has never been so simple.
With PART FACTORY, it was possible to quickly upload the manufacturing drawing and receive a market-driven quote for the requested components within 48 hours. Within a very short time, the requested component was on its way to production. However, it did not stop there, because for the eighth birthday there was to be something special: A major update - technically and graphically. So a small team set themselves the task of giving the contract manufacturing portal a modern and clear design. The main focus was on the clear layout and modern design of the website and the portal. At the end of June 2022, the time has finally come for the optimized portal to go online. However, not only the design is to be made more modern in the course of the process, but also new functions that make operation even more intuitive are on the agenda. The aim of the upgrade is to provide both customers and producers with a simple and clear platform on which they can effortlessly exchange CNC jobs.
If we take a look at the last eight years, it is clear that PART FACTORY is moving with the times, and we thank all customers and producers for their trust!
